Divorce Action in Williams County, Ohio - Bacher

The couple was married on 12 November 1870, Wooster, Wayne Co, OH (Marriage V7 p438).  William H. Bacher was the son of William and Susan Roakey Bacher of Wayne Co, OH.  Brown Cemetery in Center Twp, Wms Co, OH housed the remains of the parents with William's death on 3 Oct 1875 @63Y 10M 8D and Susanna's demise on 21 Dec 1887 @69Y 10M 20D.  

 

William charged that Byantha was not fit to have custody of their daughter Jennie J, b 10 Jan 1875.  He said that Byantha was a resident of Wooster and had committed adultery with unknown men; she was guilty of gross neglect.  The case was continued, then dismissed, and then refiled with a newspaper notice of divorce in the Bryan Press, 26 Oct 1883.  

 

Byantha Annie Clapper, daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth St. Clair Clapper, was born in Wooster, Wayne Co, OH in September 1850. She remarried as there was a record of a wedding for Byantha Clapper and Jacob Flickinger on 1 June 1884, Wayne Co, OH (Marriage V10 p226). Byantha died in Orient, Osceola Co, MI on 21 September 1905 and was buried there in Forest Hill Cemetery. 

 

William H Bacher, born c1850 in Wayne Co, OH, next married Ella Jones, 29 Jan 1884, Steuben Co, IN. Daughter Jennie Jemima married George Flickinger and she died on 6 March 1927 in Barberton, Summit Co, OH.  Nothing further is known.
