A Field Trip to Lenawee County Historical Society Museum located in Adrian, MI has been planned. The museum is located in a castle-like Romanesque building on the national register of historic places; the three floors of the museum are filled with historic paintings, photographs, maps, written documents, furniture, and more. The purpose of the collection is to preserve and reveal the way in which the people of Michigan and Lenawee County have lived through the years. The museum is barrier-free and has an elevator.
We will meet at the Pulaski United Methodist Church’s parking lot by 9:30 am, head to Adrian for lunch at Big Boy at 126 N. Broad St., then on to the Museum by 1:00 pm for a tour of the museum given by Jim Path. After the tour, you may spend time checking out the archives department that’s located in the basement of the museum.
