Divorce Action in Williams County, Ohio - Gansmiller, 1905 (Newspaper)

By Pamela Pattison Lash

Sometimes a divorce action does not go through to a final decree.  Obviously this is an example of such as the couple continue the marriage to the time of the husband’s death, years after this.

Bryan Democrat, 6 April 1905

Daisy Gansmiller v Frederick Gansmiller is the title of another divorce case filed in which the plaintiff charges that since Jan 15, 1905, the defendant has refused to provide her with the necessaries of life.  She asked for an injunction, which was granted by Judge Killitts last Friday, restraining the defendant from disposing of his personal property.  They were married in Bryan on Mar 23, 1904.

Frederick Gansmiller married Daisy Irene Dignan on 23 March 1904 in Bryan, Pulaski Twp, Williams Co, OH

Frederick August Gansmiller (6 Aug 1876 Pleasant Twp, Henry Co, OH – 4 Mar 1938 Jackson Co, MI; bur Hillcrest Cem) was the son of Christian H and Mary Scharpf Gansmiller.

Daisy Irene Dignan (21 May 1884 – 1956; bur Hillcrest Cem) was the daughter of Emmit and Alice Cole/Kohl Dignan.
