Richard A. Haskins, who recently was arrested on a charge of
assault with intent to kill his wife, Malissa Haskins, filed a petition in
common pleas court asking for divorce. The alleged assault occurred Sunday,
July 2, and according to the petition filed by Mr. Haskins, his wife struck him
with her fists and an iron stove lift. He asks for divorce because of alleged
cruelty and neglect. Mr. and Mrs. Haskins were married at Toledo Jan. 1, 1906 -
Pioneer Alliance.
