He was a former resident of Edgerton. He worked as a farmer, then located in Edgerton and was employed at the old basket factory. About five years ago he sold his home here and went to stay with a son, Charles, at Oakwood, Ohio. He remained there until 3 ½ years ago, when he went to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Emery Camp, at Waterloo. Surviving besides the son and daughter are another daughter, Mrs. Lyman E. Meyer, of Edgerton; 13 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren; also five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Barrick of Wisconsin; Mrs. Mattie Nelson of Toledo; Mrs. Lena Hosler of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Bessie McMillian and Mrs. Goldie Ankney, of Sherwood. Services will be held at the Krill Funeral Home here at 10 am Wednesday with the Rev Lester P Taylor, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
