Divorce Action in Williams County, Ohio - Planson

The couple was married in Wms Co on 1 Nov 1843 (Marriage V1 p72).  Frederick was born 7 May 1814 in France, parentage unknown; and Catherine, born 24 Jan 1824 in Charmond Dombs, France, was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Goll.  Frederick arrived in NY aboard the Lorena on 16 Apr 1833; he was 18 years old.  In the 1850 Springfield Twp federal census p94B, the couple was listed as Frederick 35 FR, Catherine 24 FR, Charley 1/12 OH along with her parents George and Cathrine Gall.  In the 1860 Springfield Twp federal census p60B, the family expanded to Frederick 46 FR, Catherine 36 FR, Charles 10 OH, Catherine 8 OH, Louisa 5 OH, George 2 OH, and Emily 6/12 OH; her parents lived next-door as George G. Gull 60 FR, Elisabeth 58 FR, Louisa 18 OH, and George 16 OH.

Catherine requested alimony but the case was dismissed.  In the 1870 Springfield Twp federal census p19, the couple appeared together as Fred 44 FR, Catherine 48 FR, Mary A 17 OH, and Louisa 15 OH.  By the 1880 Springfield Twp federal census p673D, Catherine 56 FR lived with daughter Mary and her husband Emil Siriet.
